The cost of living crisis as well as existing or unexpected costs have made excess funds scare, but if you are have sufficient financial security to make a donation to a GoFundMe or charity to support one or many autistic humans, it could greatly improve someone’s quality of life.

Here is a link to all GoFundMes relating to autism, some examples of these can be seen in the first two boxes below. The third box contains a link for a charity!

"Ben is 6 years old and is having a really rough time at school. He has been referred for an ADHD assessment, but the NHS waiting list is huge and a diagnosis can take anything up to 5 or 6 years. Our worry is that this is already affecting his mental health and self esteem, and by the time he gets assessed it will be too late, so we are hoping to raise money to help fund a private assessment. We know it’s tough out there at the moment, and we don’t want people to feel obliged, so anything you can give will be extremely helpful and gratefully received."

The first charity exclusively providing Autism Assistance dogs to autistic people of any age, who will significantly benefit from such a partnership, anywhere in the UK.

"I am a 21 year old transgender man with autism. I live in the UK and subsist on benefits due to my long term disabilities. I can't afford top surgery. I'm trying, I'm saving, but it's going to take ages and I need help. If you have anything to spare, please consider chucking whatever change you have my way, I feel it will save my life."
